Scribble Art Referral Program Terms

At a glance: Friends that you refer get 20% off their first Qualifying Order. You earn a Scribble Art Referral Reward (as defined below) when their friend redeems that offer. Referral Rewards are issued seven days after delivery, expire after 180 days, and cannot be combined with promotional codes. Additional eligibility and usage rules apply below.

Welcome to the Scribble Art Referral Program! The Scribble Art Referral Program ("Program") is offered by Scribble Creativity, Inc. ("Scribble Art", "we", "our", "us"). These Referral Program Terms ("Referral Terms") govern your participation in the Program. The Program is a Promotion under Section 5 of our Terms of Service, available at https://scribble.art/terms, and these Referral Terms govern where they conflict with the Terms of Service. Our Privacy Policy, available at https://scribble.art/privacy, also applies and is expressly incorporated into these Referral Terms.

By sharing a referral link, using a referral link, or earning or redeeming referral rewards, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these Referral Terms and agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, do not participate in the Program.

1. Program overview

The Program has two sides.

Your friend receives 20% off their first eligible Scribble Art order when they use your referral link for a Qualifying Order (as defined below).

You receive a Scribble Art Referral Reward when that friend redeems the 20% friend offer on their first paid order, and that order remains valid through the period described in Section 5.

The two sides have different requirements. Please read Sections 3 and 4 carefully.

2. Eligibility

To refer a friend, you must:

• Have a Scribble Art account in good standing.
• Be the legitimate account holder associated with the referral link you share.
• Be at least 18 years old and a resident of a jurisdiction where the Program is offered.

To be a referred friend, a person must:

• Be a new Scribble Art customer who has never completed a paid Scribble Art order.
• Not be the referrer, and not share a household, payment method, or shipping address with the referrer.
• Create a Scribble Art account and place their Qualifying Order using a valid referral link within the referral window described in Section 9.

Scribble Art employees, contractors, affiliates, and their immediate family members and household members may not earn a Referral Reward through the Program.

We may determine eligibility in our reasonable discretion and our records are final in the event of a dispute.

3. The friend offer

The friend offer is available only for orders that comply with the following requirements (a “Qualifying Order”): 

• The 20% discount applies to the eligible merchandise subtotal of the friend's first order.
• The discount is valid for and may only be redeemed within 30 days following the friend's first valid referral link click.
• There is no minimum order value.
• Each new customer may receive the friend offer only once.
• The discount cannot be applied to gift card or pre-purchase voucher purchases, and an order containing only gift cards, pre-purchase vouchers, or both is not a first eligible order under these Referral Terms.
• The discount has no cash value, cannot be redeemed for cash, and cannot be transferred.

4. How you earn a Referral Reward

You earn a Referral Reward only if all of the following are true:

1. Your friend is eligible under Section 2.
2. Your friend redeems the 20% friend offer on their first paid order. If your friend instead uses a different promotional code, sale price, or other offer, the referral does not qualify and no Referral Reward is earned. 
3. The referred friend’s order includes at least one eligible product. Gift cards and pre-purchase vouchers are not eligible products. An order containing only gift cards, pre-purchase vouchers, or both does not qualify a referral.
4. The order remains valid through the reward hold period in Section 5.

A later purchase does not qualify a referral retroactively. If your friend's first paid order does not qualify, a subsequent order by that friend will not create a Referral Reward for you.

5. When your Referral Reward is issued

• After your friend's Qualifying Order is placed, your Referral Reward appears as pending.
• A pending Referral Reward is issued seven (7) days after the Qualifying Order is delivered.
• No Referral Reward is issued if, before issuance, the Qualifying Order is canceled, refunded, returned, reversed, charged back, or determined by us to be fraudulent, ineligible, or otherwise invalid.
• We may void issued but unused Referral Rewards if the underlying Qualifying Order is later canceled, refunded, reversed, charged back, or determined to be fraudulent or ineligible.

6. Using your Referral Reward

• Each qualifying referral earns a Scribble Art Referral Reward, subject to these Referral Terms.
• Referral Rewards may be redeemed for future Scribble Art purchases in an amount as stated in the Referral Rewards section of your Scribble Art account. The amount of any Referral Reward shall be determined by Scribble Art in its sole discretion.
• You may accumulate more than one Referral Reward and there is no cap on the number of referrals you may make, subject to Sections 10 and 12.
• Multiple Referral Rewards may be applied to a single order.
• Referral Rewards are applied when you choose to apply them at checkout. Once applied, Referral Rewards are used in order of soonest expiration first.
• Referral Rewards are applied to the order subtotal and do not apply to shipping, taxes, or fees.
• Referral Rewards cannot reduce an order total below zero. No change, refund, or residual value is given for the difference.
• Referral Rewards do not reduce the merchandise subtotal used to determine free shipping eligibility.
• Referral Rewards cannot be used to purchase gift cards or pre-purchase vouchers.
• Referral Rewards have no cash value (except as required by applicable law), cannot be redeemed or exchanged for cash, and cannot be sold, transferred, or combined across accounts. Referral Rewards do not constitute a gift card, stored credit, stored value, or a pre-purchase voucher.
• Any unused portion of a Referral Reward remains available on your account until that Reward's expiration date.

7. Referral Reward Definition and Expiration

The term “Referral Rewards” as used in these Terms means a retailer-issued promotional benefit provided under this Program that may be applied as a discount against eligible merchandise. Referral Rewards cannot be purchased or loaded by a participant, are not transferable, are not redeemable for cash, are not a gift card or gift certificate, and do not constitute purchased store value.

REFERRAL REWARDS EXPIRE 180 DAYS AFTER ISSUANCE. The specific expiration date for each Referral Reward will be displayed in your Scribble Art account. Referral Rewards are issued only under this promotional referral program, cannot be purchased or loaded, are not gift cards or purchased store value, and are not redeemable for cash except where required by applicable law. Expired Referral Rewards are forfeited and cannot be reinstated except at Scribble Art’s discretion. 

8. One offer per order

Only one incentive may be applied to any order.

• The friend offer replaces, and does not stack with, the welcome offer, signup offers, sale codes, or any other promotional code or discount.
• Referral Rewards do not combine with promotional codes.
• Where more than one offer is available, only the single eligible offer selected by the customer or applied by checkout will be honored.
• If your friend chooses a different offer instead of the 20% friend offer, the referral does not qualify and you do not earn a Referral Reward. This is true even if the other offer is larger.

9. Referral attribution

• A valid referral requires the friend to use your referral link.
• To receive your Referral Reward, the referred friend must purchase an eligible product within 30 days after clicking your referral link.
• Only the first valid referrer is credited. A later referral link click does not replace an existing valid attribution and will not create a Referral Reward.
• We use cookies, local storage, account association, and similar technologies to track referrals. See our Privacy Policy, available at https://scribble.art/privacy.
• Attribution may fail for reasons outside our control, including cleared cookies, private browsing, ad blockers, or device switching. Our records are final in any dispute.

10. Sharing rules

Share your link with people you actually know. You may not:

• Send spam or bulk unsolicited messages of any kind.
• Make false, exaggerated, or misleading claims about Scribble Art, its products, or the offer.
• Impersonate Scribble Art or represent yourself as an employee, agent, or official partner.
• Bid on Scribble Art brand terms or trademarks in paid search or any other paid advertising.
• Post your link to coupon, deal, promo code, or cashback aggregation sites without prior written permission.
• Use bots, scripts, automated distribution, fake accounts, or purchased lists.

If you share your referral link publicly, including on social media, you must clearly and conspicuously disclose that you may receive a benefit. A statement such as "I may receive Scribble Art Rewards if you order through my link" placed near the link satisfies this requirement. 

11. Messaging

We provide tools to copy and share your own referral link. You are responsible for complying with all applicable laws when you send it, including anti-spam laws. Do not send referral messages to people who have not consented to hear from you.

12. Fraud and abuse

We may withhold, reverse, or void rewards, cancel orders, suspend or close accounts, and remove participants from the Program in connection with:

• Self-referrals, or referrals between accounts controlled by the same person or household.
• Creation of multiple or duplicate accounts.
• False identities, fabricated email addresses, or falsified payment or shipping information.
• Orders that are canceled, refunded, disputed, charged back, or fraudulent.
• Automated sharing, bulk distribution, or automated account creation.
• Referral rings, reciprocal referral arrangements, or other coordinated schemes.
• Any attempt to circumvent the new customer requirement or any other Program rule.
• Any other activity we reasonably determine to be abusive, deceptive, or contrary to the spirit of the Program.

13. Returns, refunds, and reversals

• A refund, return, cancellation, or chargeback on a Qualifying Order may reduce or eliminate the referral's qualification.
• Pending Referral Rewards are canceled if the underlying order is invalidated.
• Issued but unused Referral Rewards may be voided if the underlying order is later invalidated.
• If a Referral Reward has already been redeemed and the underlying order is later invalidated, we may adjust your account balance, deduct the amount from a future refund, or seek another reasonable remedy.
• A friend's refund is calculated on the amount actually paid after all discounts and credits were applied, not on the pre-discount price.

14. Taxes

You are solely responsible for any taxes that may apply to Referral Rewards you receive.

15. Changes and Termination

We may modify, suspend, or terminate the Program, or change Referral Reward amounts, eligibility, attribution windows, or redemption rules, at any time and without notice, consistent with our right to change Service under Section 20 of the Terms of Service. Referrals initiated after termination will not be honored.

Credit you have already validly earned will be honored according to the terms in effect when it was earned, subject to its expiration date and to Sections 12 and 13.

16. General

The Program is offered subject to our Terms of Service, available at https://scribble.art/terms, including its disclaimer of warranty, limitation of liability, governing law, arbitration agreement, and severability provisions, which apply to these Referral Terms as if fully set out here. The Program is void where prohibited.
