What Should I Do If I Have a Problem with My Scribble Order?

To ensure the highest quality output for your printed keepsakes, we recommend uploading photos in either .jpg or .heic format. While .png files are accepted, we suggest using .jpg or .heic to avoid potential slowness or technical issues with our "Automagic" editing feature. 

For optimal print quality, your photos should be at least 4MB in size with a resolution of 1600x1600 pixels. Currently, the maximum upload file size is 10MB.

Which File Formats Are Recommended for Uploading My Photos?

Yes, you can make adjustments to the photos you've uploaded to your Scribble book. To edit a photo, simply tap on the photo tile to see the page preview. From there, you can rotate, crop, and adjust the colors of your photo. You can also add text to the page, and if you're not happy with your changes or Scribble's suggestions, you can always revert to the original photo.

Can I Make Adjustments To The Photos I've Uploaded To My Scribble Book?

You can add photos of your child doing the activities in the book, or even add a photo of your child on the cover. A Scribble book includes 24 pages, with each page thoughtfully designed to showcase one piece of your child's precious artwork. You can add additional pages at a cost of $0.30 per page. You can add as many pages as you like, up to a maximum of 200 pages per book, giving you the flexibility to showcase all of your child's artwork in a beautiful, customized collection.

When it comes to your physical Scribble book, please note that a "page" refers to each side of a sheet of paper. This means that in a book with content on both sides of the paper, each side counts as a separate page. For example, if your Scribble book has 48 pages, it will contain 24 sheets of paper and consist of 48 pieces of art.

Scribble's advanced computer vision algorithms do some pretty magical things to your children's artwork photos so that they turnout amazing in a hardcover photo book. Our photo cleanup process is continually being torture tested by our own children (6 and up) with the intent that creating a photo book can be painless and something that your kids can be a part of too. Below&nbsp;are some of the steps that we go through for every photo that you upload.

Throw it on the floor or a table to photograph your artwork. As long as there is reasonable color contrast, we'll remove the background from your photo (for example, no white paper on a white counter top). This allows us to isolate the artwork and add a background color in a later step.

Taking the perfectly straight photo can be a bit of a juggling act sometimes. We take the anxiety out of making sure you're perfectly aligned over your artwork and automatically correct most off-angle photos&nbsp;or incorrectly rotated photos.

Our smartphone cameras do an amazing job making our photos look great in imperfect situations. We take it a step further and tune elements like white balance, contrast, vibrance, and saturation. 

We analyze the colors in every photo and suggest a background color for each artwork piece. You can globally select a color theme based on our suggestions or optionally override a background color suggestion and choose one that suits the mood.

Book and wrapping paper printing takes about 4-5 business days after your order is submitted and approved. Our free ground shipping takes around 5-7 days depending on your delivery location. Note that selecting a faster shipping method will only impact the shipping time. Production and shipping times can be affected by seasonality.

Scribble provides free ground shipping on all U.S. orders over $70, with a flat rate of $7.99 for orders under $70. For deliveries to Hawaii and Alaska, additional shipping fees apply.
